Cylinder Gasket

Ok, I’m confused. I am doing a top end overhaul and am getting ready to start reassembly. I bought the top end gasket kit and I understand everything I’m looking at with one exception. The gasket kit came with four (4) cylinder gaskets. Why?

I believe two are for 107 and two for 114.

So I just use 1 on each cylinder since I have the 103?

Sorry, Twin cam gaskets are different. Are you sure you don't have 2 head gaskets and two base gaskets? Not sure why you should have two pairs of gaskets.

In any case, you should use a multi-layered steel head gasket like these or aftermarket. https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...Kit/p/16101-01
