2008 Fuel tank overflow

Hello all, could someone show the routing of the tank overflow, hard plastic tube, left side.
I pulled mine out to remove the tank and didn't notice the rubber joiner I should of separated, Thanks, Gus

as long as you can get it out to the bottom of the bike, with out rubbing on a moving part you should be good, i made a similar mistake with a battery vent on one of my previous bikes, and just routed it out and thru, never had an issue.

I am sure someone can be a bit more specific than me though.
