I’m new to the Harley world and picked up a new 2021 Street Glide special , my question is this how come it came with a cable clutch and my friend’s 2020 base model came with a hydraulic clutch ?
2nd question is can I convert it to a hydraulic one?

Harley has had a lot of reliability issues with hydraulic clutch actuation. That is why yours is cable actuated. Yes, you can buy the parts needed to convert.

Yes I traded my 2015 for the 21 and I like the cable clutch much better. I did have a recall on my clutch back in 2016 to I'm happy going back to cable.
