Just hit 19,000 miles on my stock Dunlop front tire!!!(14 SGS), measured tire depth is 2/32. During my routine safety inspection I found a crack on sidewall 1/2 in long that wasn't there previously, so I will be replacing tire w/ same. Really surprised I got this many miles out of this tire.. most of my riding is desert/ mountains occasionally 2 up. And yes I check my tire pressure before every ride (36/40 psi) guess it paid off!!! I got 22,212 miles out of my first stock Dunlop front tire on my 14 SG & 28,846 on the second one. Mostly highway riding, never 2 up. My son has 17k on his 14 SGS mostly rides back & forth to work about 6 miles each way & he needs the tire replaced. Had no cracks on mine.
