AC Decisions...

I do not have either of those 2 specific A/c's but i do have the Arlen Ness Big sucker & i will tell you this:
If the bike gets to hot and oil does come out the Air Cleaner the back plate on the Arlen Ness will not channel that oil back into your motor as well as the Screamin Eagle will. Mine did this and dealer showed me the difference in the back plate of each one & the Screamin Eagle was a much better design!

Thanks for this insight as I'd rather have functionality than the bling. :) I may end up with the SE Extreme Billet or the SE Heavy Breather. I like the idea of more leg room also.

i bought the RSD clarity in chrome, but haven't installed it yet. i will tell you that it's absolutely beautiful.

I did the HD Screamin Eagle Unit and happy with its washable/reusable filter.

One of the sales guys at the dealer has the RSD AC really nice looking but I opted for the Agitator Extreme Billet

Introducing the new Pro Billet air cleaner designed to work with the new 2014 Touring models 'Rushmore' cover. The new Pro Billet air cleaner not only retains the factory cover, but also increases the airflow by 47%! Due to the new air cleaner cover design being over twice the weight of the previous 'Football' style cover, the new Pro Billet air cleaner retains 360 degree support of the outer cover for durability purposes. The backing plate is machined from CNC 6061 billet and coated with a nice black finish. The Pro Billet offers a very fast and easy installation and is entirely made in the USA!

I went with the elite heavy breather. I'm happy with the looks and performance I get with it.

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking of going the SE route due to the back plate issue that SG12 pointed out above. I've got it narrowed down to SE Extreme Billet, SE Chisel Extreme Billet and SE Heavy Breather, but mostly leaning towards Heavy Breather for the leg room. I am going to go and look at them tonight at local dealership, but planning on purchasing from Jon.

Thanks bryan for the shot, as you've got the same color bike and same AC that I am leaning towards. Did you install it yourself? If so, did you just take it to HD for ECM download or have 3rd party?

Well I have my Heavy Breather installed. I will be doing the Fuelpak FP3 after I change out the exhaust, which will probably be a tomorrow job, since it's raining all weekend.

Glad you got it on, looks good. Just realized you had asked me a question a while back, I think you had PM'ed me and I did say I did a power vision which I got from Fuel Moto.

What happens when you get caught in the rain? I know they have rain socks but how well do they work.

I ran the heavy breather on my last bike for about 6 years with out any issue with rain.
