Our Turks and Caicos trip.

Weather was always around 78-82 degrees. Did a lot of snorkeling and drinking. Local light beer, Turks Head Light sucked. The amber and lager were O.K.. Domestic beer was $62 a case USD. Turks Head was $43. Miller Light was $16.99 a six pack for 12 oz. bottles. Friggen ridiculous. Coors light was $43 a case for 10 oz. cans. Gas was $5.58 a gallon. We still drank like fish. Whatya gonna do? Saw sharks and barracudas every day snorkeling. Tons of colorful fish and corral. Saw several sting rays also.

Most of the southern Atlantic and Caribean are the same it seems. A lot of lime stone ledge and gravel, scrub brush, palm trees and pretty girls. The locals were VERY polite and helpful. Island life is OK for a week, but, I miss wide open spaces and real trees. Kinda felt trapped in a way.

Those are great Pics Buckshot!!! Wife and i were in Negril Jamaica for the week of christmas and it was FABULOUS!!
We stayed at Sandals and it was all inclusive so didn't need to pay for drinks thank god cause i'm sure i drank a brewery every day!!! Would love to go to Turks but seeing the price for beer...... that is god awful expensive!!

I did some snorkeling in Turks n Caicos back in 1992. Amazing view in that clear water!

We had near the same thing in Australia with beer. We ended up drinking a local beer called Tooheys.
