Anyone heard of these CFR?

Yes, they are EXTREMELY popular...I run them on my Street Glide. They produce a very distinctive, deep baritone growl and in my opinion they make a Harley sound the way a Harley should sound. The only bad thing about them is that they are extremely difficult to get at the moment as the chromes are back ordered at least 10-12 weeks while the blacks are back ordered approximately 3-4 weeks

If you have any specific questions, certainly let me know.

Do you have to get tune if this is all your doing to your Street Glide?

It ultimately depends on what motor your Street Glide has. If you have a 96" then you will not need to have the bike retuned but if you are running either a 103" or a 110" then you will need to have the bike retuned. The reason being is that on the larger displacement motors, more air is drawn out of the header with the CFRs which alters the air:fuel ratio. If this ratio is not corrected, then you run a very high risk of 1) your bike not performing properly 2) the pipes discoloring which is not covered under warranty since this is a tuning issue and not a chrome issue.

I have them on my 2013. Sound is great. Constantly complimented on them. I had the bike re-tuned. Also changed headers and air cleaner.

I have cfr's on my 2014 SG. I asked the dealer if it needed a tune and they told me it wasn't necessary and that it wouldn't hurt anything.

Dealer is right, no tuning unless you change head pipes.

Have you done a tune or air cleaner on yours?

If asking me the answer would be no, maybe at a later time.

Yes, sorry, that question was for you. I can see that my stock head pipe is bluing and i'm worried that it will carry through to the CFR. Do you have bluing with yours?

They just arrived last week and haven't put on yet (bike in storage ) i was assured by cfr that no blueing should happen if i don't change headers.

Nothing wrong with waking up an old thread... new folks like me can appreciate it!

Just looked into these after I heard them on a limited... I fell in love!!! Iron Aces Speed Shop has them for $605.15 and free shipping... gonna be gettin some for sure.. love the unique sound and love the look.

BEST PRICE I have found yet...

Also... I to have heard if I just add the slip-ons to my 14 SGS, I don't need a tune right away... I do worry about the bluing issue mentioned above.....

All I have seen is blueing on my stock headpipes. I'm not planning to switch them out because i'm pretty sure that after the air cleaner and engine download, the 103 will have plenty of power for my riding style, plus I think the CFR's sound perfect with the stock headpipe. I like a loud bike, but not loud enough to wake the dead. I went through a few different pipes on my old bike "2009 fatbob" until I found the sound I wanted. I did my research this time to make sure I got the right ones the first time. Get the CFR's, you won't regret it.

I was curious about the head pipe and all, I have not changed my head pipes out at all yet, and was thinking about changing from 4" rineharts to the CFR's, now that I know you don't have to have it re-tuned... you might just see a set of 4" rineharts for sale on here soon.....

I have CFR slip-ons, but haven't rode with them. They do sounds fabulous in the garage. I also didn't want to spend $300-$500 in a tuner as im not planning any motor mods and im leaving the Factory cat IN. After a lot of research, i decide to go with Nightriders FL-Vied-10 http://sales.nightrider.com/fl-vied-10.html IT will add 6% more fuel and keep you out of the LEAN mode for the EPA standards. Priced right to, $126 shipped.
