It's just not the sound I was going for. Personal preference, that's all.

Sounds like in your first post you were all in... If you don't mind me asking what changed your mind to pull them off & sell?

I usually change pipes two or three times before I find what works for me. I think the loud deepness of them got me hooked at first, but I'm looking for better performance now.

I 'hear' you.... I do want the CFR's.... Love the deep thunderous sound they make... IF I stay duals.... I have been contemplating performance over looks of duals as well. 2-1 is much better performance-wise than the greatest duals and X pipe... hands down. V/H Pro Pipe is the way I am leaning.... also a GREAT sounding exhaust system and performance to back it. Jackpot was a thought at first... obnoxiously loud and great performance... just not made in Chrome... SS Brushed, polished and black.

I wish I had the money in my pocket.. I would jump all over your CFR's... de-cat my header and throw on the AC and FP3 in a heartbeat.... cuz that's how I roll....

Good luck with the sale my friend... it's a GREAT deal for whoever gets them.

They were on eBay for 20 minutes and sold for $590. I'm looking at different V&H options with a tuner and a/c with a dyno tune. Time will tell. I will say, I put stock on and took out my vied and my bike did feel much stronger.

Spazz, I forgot to add, I put the pro pipe on my fatbob when I had it. That pipe sounded awesome and put out more power than the thunder header. With the pro pipe, screamin eagle ac and a dyno tune, the fatbob put out just under 90 horse and just under 100 tq. It was also a 96, not the 103.

Looks like my Rhieharts are 2"

Thats not a problem... I use 2" of 2" tubing with 1/8" wall and split them to make shims for the pipes... worked great with no leaks

I do have someone interested in my current exhaust so I'm going to see if that's a go and grab some v/h power duals

Major, I saw you posted on another site as well. You are going to love the CFR's, they are worth the trouble your having now! All my buddies say they love the sound of mine, and couple want to get them for their bikes. They say it sounds like a new shelby only louder when following me.
