Hey Happy Glider.
I bought the same setup recently. Mounted it but have not used it yet. Have only ridden a few hours and noticed it had slipped up where it slides behind the fairing bolt and looked like it would have popped out soon. I did not use thread lock but think I will now. It was plenty tight when I installed it. I will be paranoid for a while now when I go on a trip.
Have you had any issues with yours?
( Ciro mount.)

Rick...

I have one and used it on couple of trips and works great. You have to use Blue Loctite. I also have their front fairing GoPro mount which I have it mounted but have not try my GoPro on it.....been way too hot in my area to ride.

But I highly recommend CIRO mount, extremely solid and snug keeping the phone/GPS in place.

On my recent trip to myrtle beach bike week I installed it at kuryakyn tent. Have had it for 8k miles. Works gr8. My phone is in my sight. Only downside is at every hard bump it will move and have to adjust.

Wow, you must be hitting very hard bump, I don't have that issue. You may want to reach out to CIRO and let them know. They have great customer service, someone will get back to you and work with you and do whatever is necessary to get that taken cared of. They did for me when I thought I had issue and the issue was my own dang fault....LOL!

Mine is kuryakyn brand not Ciro. It is a gr8 product but it moves down at hard bumps where that phone cradle is joined at ball joint. I tried tightening that knob at ball joint but it still moves a lil bit now. May be ciro is better if ur telling me it doesn't moves.

Yes, CIRO mount doesn't move at all, it's very solid, I am extremely happy with it and highly recommend it.

I have the Ciro ball mount as well, mostly happy with it but mine isn't as rock solid as BlkDragon's. I have the iphone 6 in a lifeproof case so it might be a little heavier. When I hit a big bump it will move no matter how tight I make it. I didn't want to mount the phone to the handle bars so I went with Ciro because it's less expensive than Iron Aces. But if I had to do it again, I'd probably give Iron Aces a shot. Plus they are an active forum sponsor and Lindsey seems to be a super cool person.

Sorry to hear that your CIRO mount is not as solid as mine, if you still want to continue using it give CIRO a call or email them....I am sure they will work with you and get you straight. I also use a GPS on the mount and it's heavier than my iPhone 6 with extended battery case and no issues hitting big bumps.

Thanks for the shout-out ... as a reminder, we do offer a 5% Street Forum Discount + Free Shipping on all Iron Aces Mount purchases using promo code "sg-forum". Hope this helps!!

There are quite a few phone mounts out there and you have to do your homework on which one works best for you. A lot of the products out there are not made for some of the cases people use, they are made for phone itself with either slim case and don't work with the rest. After paying quite a bit of money and you can't use it with different cases that you need for your daily use of your phone is to me a waste of money. With CIRO mount it will accommodate different size cases and you don't have to keep buying cradles if you change phones. it'll fit large phone (I call them mini tablets...LOL) just with the mount that comes with it. But now that few of you are reporting that it moves when you hit big bumps, CIRO needs to look at their mount and redesign to avoid that.

But make sure you do your homework and find the mount that fits your budget and need, you want to do it once and do it right.

I bought this RAM mount and it is the best mount I have ever used. Rock solid. Spring loaded top that you just push up with your phone and set it down and it will never come out.2017-05-01 16.47.11 (2).jpg

I have the CIRO. It's mounted to the fairing and I love it. My I-phone 6 with its case stays put. Great product in my opinion
