I wish I was riding my bike as much as following StretGlide.com :D

Hey all , I just received my TL phase 7 AND hopefully ordered the right pig tail - pretty sure I did

Question:

Do I need to splice anything ?
If anyone has a pic or a diagram they can post or instructions it would be greatly appreciated

Thx

No splicing with correct pigtail... dont even need to remove fairing...remove trim ring and retaining ring and light.. remove oem pigtail and replace it... plug in new light.insyall ret ring and trim ring

Well like y'all said very easy to install , that part went great but I dropped my new deep viser headlight cover that I just had powder coated on the cement and ruined it ( pissed )

So now. Have to pay for another powder coat job , jeeeeez what a
moron

I was reading that you have to ajust your LED light different from stock headlight

Any have pointers on this ?

Thx

Sorry about the trim ring.. sux...

But.. since it's off, now is the best time to adjust the headlight without fighting the the rubber ring inside the trim ring.

There are two adjustment screws that you can plainly see with the trim ring off. one for up and down and one for left and right. Find a level surface with a wall in front of it around 25'. That is what I did. Follow the manufacturer's suggestions on adjustment.

I noticed that some guys put carpeting or rubber floor matting under their bike so when they drop stuff or set it down....no scratches or dings. They also always put a towel over the front fender, gas tank, etc to protect them against dropped parts and tools. I have damaged my share of stuff for sure.

Indeed Hulkss, I always protect my bike when I'm working g on it BUT I was in a hurry and we all know that's when stuff get beat up

So today when I put my bezel back on I had everything covered on and around bike , lol , I had like 8 of my wife's thick towels heheee

She still mad , but looks great

I use moving blankets and also gives you a place to set tools on with indoor outdoor carpet under for those dropped screws they don't bounce away and spend 20 mins finding them lol
