What's the latest on the engine issue, inquiring minds want to know? :cool:
 
Talked to Mike this morning. All the parts are in and it's in line to start the rebuild either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. The engine guy is on workmans comp at this moment. I doubt I'll even see the bike till this weekend.

Well that sucks. But on 1 hand you want it now but on the other hand you wait for the right guy to fix it right. We are at the mercy of others and sometimes that's just life, hate it but what can you do? Happy they are fixing it for you and we will have to get together with Spazz he really likes the RED bikes lol
 
I can't believe HD wouldn't put a brand new motor in for you on a bike that's like brand new.
 
Perry did mike say who was working on your bike since Pat isn't there? I am hopeful that you say Lance he is now the parts manager but maybe in Pats absence he may wrench. Which would be GREAT FOR YOU!!!
 
No Jay he didn't say. I pretty much feel like I won't see it till this weekend at this point at best. I'll wait. Patience is a virtue. Peli1, yes that is the breaks. It's a machine and they are not all perfect. TomA, in due time. All in due time.

Perry.... glad it's coming along... but DANG!!!!!! I mean.. what two weeks already? I would be jumping up and down on someones chest about now....so to speak....
 
My wife gives me my pep talks when I need them. Then she tells me to snap out of it and take out the garbage and if she has to tell me again she will kick me squaw in the crotch.

How's that for resiliency?

Perry I feel ya brother!!! Since my wrist surgery April 2nd i have rode 11 miles!!! & that was 2 different trips!! Hope they get it done right for ya!!!

So......still waiting on getting Berny back.

And in other news, I got an assignment today. So I have less than a year left in the states. So then Berny goes into a long winters nap for pretty much all of 2015 and part of 2016. Looks like I'm going to have to get schooled in long term storage.

Either way I need to do some riding!!!
