I am having my SG put on the dyno tomorrow and wanted to ask what is the going rate for a Harley Dealer to charge.. Mine told me 3 hours of labor which comes out to $297. Plus they said shop supplies & tax of course....
Does that sound right? Seems like 3 hours of labor is a bit much to me.....

Thanks in advance...

That about right.... mine was $335 on my softtail last year. It takes time to dial it all in... not just a few minutes.

thanks alot Spazz for the quick response!! I am dropping it off tonight & they will do it tomorrow! I will post numbers when i get it back...

My HD dealer charges labor only (3 hrs x $88=$264+tax). The best Dyno guy in town charged me $350. This included 4 hours initially and a Followup after he downloaded my tables a week later and did some tweaking. He sticks a copper tube up each exhaust pipe for true duals and also adds Wide Band O2 sensors for initial run. I got my $$$ worth !

Ok i just picked up my 2012 SG from dealer after a full dyno. I already had my extras on for a year with just a base map..... I have V&H dresser duals, twin slash rounds, arlen ness big sucker, and a power commander V. Here is what it was:
Before tune it was: HP 68.90 Torque 87.05
After tune it was: HP 77.77 Torque 99.62

It felt really good on the way home. Couldn't believe the difference in Torque!! Seems like it was backfiring more then it use to but still sounded good. Are these numbers good??? I'm not looking for super power but want all i can get out of the money i've spent on all this stuff!!!
