Iron Aces Street Glide mount for Power Vision

OK I just looked at the mount to see what you were up against. Could you counter sink the holes on the visor and use flat heads? M4-. 7 is really common so any hardware store would have flat heads.

Good recommendation azglocker. I hit up the hardware store and found some M4 .7 screws with lower profile heads on them. The heads of the screws barely kiss the back of the PV. Mission finally accomplished after yet, another PITA mod. Let me be clear in saying that the problem was not with the IA mount, but rather the visor bracket. If Dynojet countersunk the holes in the visor bracket, this would have been a much simpler install. Here is the finished product.

I put my screws through the back of the mount and only used 2 and it worked just fine. And yes a little loctite paste on those screws and they were tight when I had to take them off.

Just my 2 cents

I know the story is old but I'm wondering if one of you guys will see it. What do you do about the end of the power Vision cable when you don't have the unit itself on. What about rain?

I pushed my cable down in the hole that I cut in the vent and only the end (connector) was left sticking up whenever I removed the PV. I got caught in a light rain once and the windshield and closed vent kept the water off of the connector. I imagine you could also get an automotive vacuum cap to put over the end of the connector.

I know it's a older post but does anyone have a iron aces street glide windshield stick on mount they would want to sale? Seems they are out of business
