06 glide power commander questions

So I can buy the power commander 3 for much cheaper than the 5 for my bike. What are the benefits if any? Should I just buy the 5 because it's newer? Please enlighten me. Thanks in advance

I believe the PCV is smaller and more compact and has a few more features, like auto tune, the ability to tune by gear (if you want 2nd and 3rd to to have more torque or whatever), easier to add on to without purchasing expansion hub. Both units are good and the PC3 will get the job done, but I really like the adjustability of my PCV. Having the ability to tune by throttle position AND gear made me move from the 3 to the PCV.
I hope this helps. If funds are low, go with the PC 3, if you can get the PCV....go for it! You, your bike and your mechanic will love you. Lol
