2011 Street Glide Cruise Control Issues????

Hi all,

New to this site and just purchased my first Street Glide last Fall and absolutely love it. Having troubles with my cruise control, so maybe some of you can help me troubleshoot the issue before I take it in.

Sometimes the cruise works and sometimes it doesn't. I flip the switch just below the radio and the orange light is on. I set the cruise with my right thumb, then sometimes it will work and change to green on my RPM gauge and then it won't.

Anyone help???

How sensitive are your brake lights when pulling on the front brake? Also I'd check to see if the clutch switch on the lever is engaging too easily.

I'm no expert, but it's sometimes the simple things that need to be checked first.

When you set your speed with right thumb switch,be sure to hold it for a few seconds. Ive found that a quick bump wont always register.

My 2 cents:
Three things to check,
>. Clutch (both handlebar and foot pedal).
>. Brake switches (both handlebar and foot pedal).
>. The actual CC switch itself.
