I thought that I had read a post here sometime ago laying out all the differences between the 2014 Street Glide and the 2014 Street Glide Special. Did anyone else read it or post it?
I know of the biggest differences between the two but it seems there was a comprehensive list of the differences between the two.
Thanks for your help,

I may not hit them all, but the list will be added to as more folks read it...

Rear shocks on SGS are NOT air shocks... they have an adjustment knob for preloading the spring for weight compensation... 10 lbs per click.

Security is standard on SGS.. optional on SG

ABS direct link brakes are standard on SGS... optional on SG

Boom audio 6.5GT with NAV is standard on SGS... 4.3 head unit on SG and no NAV

Pinstriping is standard on SGS and none on SG

Color options vary as well I believe... I know the Daytona Blue cannot be had with the SGS ( should have been the other way around for sure )

that's all I can think of at this point that is note-worthy

It's also lower in the rear . 12" instead of 13" shocks

19 inch front wheel on the sgs. 18 on the sg. I was wrong 19 on both

Add to Spazz's list:
select colors
painted inner fairing

When referring to the painted inner fairing on a special, it's always painted black, not color matched to the bike. I've seen an amber whiskey sg with a matched inner, wow does that look good

True.. but the SGS's all come Gloss Vivid Black and and the SG's are Denim Black Matte Finish.

Color-matched inners do set off whatever paint color you have for sure... mine is color-matched... LOL!!!

My thanks to Spazz and everyone else. My 2014 SGS was parked next to a friends 2014 SG the other day. When we came back out to the parking lot we both noticed that the SGS seemed to have a lower profile. But after we sat sat on both the seat height was the same. It must be the lower rear shocks. Are the motors exactly the same?
Thanks again for everyones input. There are still some who think the only difference between the two bikes is the navigation!
