So I am thinking of trading my 13 for a new 15 SGS, have done a ton of searches talked to some riders and thought I would ask here if anyone has traded up from 13 and earlier and what their feelings were. Looking for input from guys that have ridden a lot of miles on the pre-Rushmore rigs and then bought the new one. Any opinions are helpful, thanks in advance.

When I was looking at my current bike, I was up in the air between a used '12 and a new '14. The thing that really sold me on the newer model was the easy open bags. Granted, I can't really give you a comparison on how it actually rides, but based on test rides it seemed that the ride of the '14 was much smoother to me.

I had a 2013 Breakout with a stage 1.... loved it... but after 100 miles... ol lady needed a break...lol...

My 2014 SGS off the floor was a much quicker and more responsive animal in stock form.. not to mention the comfort factor...

I had a 2010 road king and went to a 2015 sgs and I am really glad I did, there is so much new stuff on the Rushmore bikes, especially the specials. The linked abs is amazing, the new latch on the bags, having navigation, hydraulic clutch, the vent in the faring the list goes on and on. I don't think you will regret it. Did I mention more power?

There are enormous improvements in the 2014 and newer models. I went from 2004 to 2014 - a tremendous improvement in every way.

I went from a 2011 to the 2014. Very much improved in almost every area although the Boombox has proved to be it's Achilles heel to many.

Thanks for the feedback guys, this started off with me thinking about some cams for mine this winter and then I heard that the new ones had some upgraded cams already, plus all the rest of the improvements added to it, well I had to go down to the city to look and man they are nice. Dealer is gonna call tomorrow with some numbers so we will see. Hate to write em another check but just might have to!

Where are you at in COLORADO? Bought 2 SGS's in Gillette. Saved thousands over any CO. dealer. $3000.00 under MSRP. (msrp = 23,400). $21,300 out the door. Included Freight, Dealer Setup, and Document fees. You would be lucky to get a SGS for MSRP in DOLORADO. (add freight, dealer prep, and doc. fees to that price). I Live in Kremmling. Glad to share any info with You. Grant.

Hey Grant, I am about 40 miles SW of Denver. Do you have a contact name up in Gillette? Worth a try for sure, thanks!

Vince, My sales man was Ryan Vomacka. I dealt on left over 2014. (exact same bikes as 2015) They had many left overs where as Colorado had few. Very willing to wheel and deal. Use your skills!! Good Luck. Let me know. I am sure they will beat CO. price. Grant.

Thanks Grant, I will give them a call. Cold up there in Kremmling this morning?
