Just gave up the 06 Road King and bought a 2017 Street Glide
Tonight was the first nite ride, the head light sucks on low beam.
Anyone else have the same issue? On a country road with oncoming traffic visibility is almost zero.

Guessing I'm going to need to make some changes.
Has anyone upgraded their head light, or gone with passing lamps?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Pretty sure everyone has. I got the kuryakyn phase 7 headlamp a couple of years ago. Works much better than stock for me.

After changing out my stock to the Custom Dynamics TruBeam® 7" LED headlamp, I refer to the stock as something that ancient miners wore.....a three sided reflective tin box with a single candle.

Agreed stock headlight is awful. I bought a Sunpie daymaker wannabe off Amazon for $70, best money spend for night riding.

Ha ha ha!

I was at the J&P rally in Anamosa and saw the Hogworkz LED display and was pretty impressed.
I just installed thier version of a Daymaker a week ago and am quite happy with the results!
