Several of my Road Glide and Street Glide buds have lowered their bikes
Some for their challenged height and some for handling issues
My Indy told me that he can push the the forks up into the tree and get me 3/4 inch and that is how they handle their builds with a 21 on front
I don't need it lower for compfort, I'm just concerned with the heavy slow speed turn feel and the little wobble on turns at speed
Any thoughts or input would be great
Thank, Dutch

I have a 21 up front and am lowering the front an inch with the Harley premium ride cartridge kit. I really didn't notice any wobble at speed, I do notice the heavy slow speed turn feel. The main reason I am lowering mine is so the bike sits at the original ride hight.

I lowered mine so I could flat foot mine with a 21 front and 18 rear. I used progressive replacement springs with 2 inch spacer for front. Lowered rear 1 inch with lowering blocks. Initially I Was upset with the rear because of the Rubbing of inner saddle bag but with the simple fix of double side tape and a piece of thin sheet metal all rubbing was taken care of. Cut out a square piece of thin sheet metal and placed between bag and shock and issue solved. The bike handles like a over size Sport bike now.

It's more aggressive now but with the added comfort in a cruiser!

Hi crumb,
I am putting a 21 inch DNA spoke wheel on the front , I wanted to put a lowering kit on the front and harley davidson said they wouldn't recommend me to do that due to possibly bottoming out on the fender. I have a 2015 streetglide special,I am also putting a fender riser kit to raise the front fender 3/4 to 1 inch.
What are your thoughts on what harley is telling me?

21"spoked no kit. Sits perfect. What do u think? Just put it on

I don't know how you ride, my buddy raced ducks, and rides the crap out of his SGS, he went 21, front, and the up size rear (can't remember the size) he said it balanced out and he rides the **** out of it

Hi, I have a HogPro 21" vivid black titan front wheel and went with a progressive front end rebuild. Not only did it bring it back down to stock ride height but handling overall is amazing.
