I used the plastic base the camera is mounted to in the box cut it down some with Dremel and used the clip that it was mounted to as well (2) 4" hose clamps and some foam window tape and bam solid as a rock!!! Spazz's idea with a few twists!

I was looking for that same mount but I couldn't find it for the life of me so I went the other route....but thanks to Spazz for showing me where to mount it and now I am thrilled to capture videos without going through Advil's while watching them......but I still wish I can find a place higher up so I am still going to try helmet mount on my next trip.

Oh crud! Thanks a lot for posting this-now I'll have to go out and get a GoPro!!!

Haha. Ian still yet to get off my a$$ and just get it mounted on mine. Going to take stuff apart soon to do the diy rear air kit

Spazz brought his whole mount kit and GoPro with him for his Road Glide rental when we did the Dragon Tour. It was some awesome video!

I've been trying to figure out a good place to mount mine and that seems like a good place.

I use the Hogtag mount, easy on, easy off. I also use the safety lanyard.
Shooting from the helmet gives a different aspect to the video.

How is the vibration from this mount?

Actually it's not a good spot.....you only see what's in the front and very low. I am going to have to look for another spot and try.

Very little vibration from the mount.....comparing to handlebar or other places....

I still have to try it from the helmet....saw few videos of that and seems to be much better......
