Just bought a new SG. Went ahead and ordered jackpot 2-1-2 header with Rinehart 4" slip ons, a S&S air cleaner and a thunder max from fuel moto. Always wanted this setup before. Came off a 13 RG but never did the up grades to it. I told myself I was going to do it to this bike. My concern is I've been reading about problems with the thunder max and wondering if anyone has any tips our there. Thanks guys!

What problems have you heard about? I have a T-Max on my '15 SGS with 107 motor and have had zero problems with it after almost 2000 miles.

Just got done putting one on my 16 cvo with freedom pipes and S&S stelth air

Have only heard good things about the Thunder max and Fuelmoto is one of our sponsors here. They cost a little more but have more features to use for tuning with motor upgrades.

I've been reading about pinging and people saying six months after they installed it they are having to work bugs out. I always thought it was the best you could get. Guess I'll find out next week.

Only tip that I have is to use antiseize on the o2 sensor threads; being extra careful not to get any on the sensors themselves and then torque them down to factory specs with an o2 sensor wrench.

I have had a Thunder max on my bike since the Loan Star Rally in November last year. I have about 10,000 miles on the bike and it runs like a champ. If I had to do it again I would.

Put it all on yesterday. Runs and sounds awesome! Glad everyone has had a good experience with it. Thanks
