What is everyone using for a tire inflator? I am looking for something really good, powerful and durable that can withstand repeated use. I see HD has one that plugs into the battery charger port, but am wondering if there are better options out there.

I got one at Home Depot that lets you preset the PSI and works off either AC or dash port and it works great!

Is this inflator powerful Mojo and does it fit in the saddlebag?

It has a range of 60PSI and no it will NOT fit in a saddle bag. I carry a CO2 repair kit I got on Amazon.

At home I use the air compressor in my shop. On the road (This is not a powered option) In my saddlebag I carry a wide diameter high volume bicycle tire pump with attached rotating hose. I think I paid close to $45. I also carry a Stop-N-Go tire repair kit. The Stop and Go website does show a powered air pump for under $40.
The hand pump Does take a bit longer to pump up a tire but under the circumstances it does just fine. Trick is to get the highest volume pump available. The pump rides comfortably in the bottom groove of the saddlebag out of the way. Got this idea years ago when I used to camp at Sturgis, the pump was handy for blowing up an air mattress as well.

I have used it and still carry it in my saddlebag, it works but it take a long time to inflate auto tires but for bike is perfect.

I normally would not repair a flat on the road if there is cell service and any chance of calling the cavalry. However, extended rides in this area of the country takes me to pretty remote areas where the chance of getting help can be slim.
I did some research and concluded that the pump found at the link below seems to be the best there is, and the price reflects it. I figure I’ll only ever need to by one of them, so I bit the bullet. Haven’t needed it on the road and hope I never will, but it’s good to know that it’s not likely to fail me if I do.
