Has anyone used one of those pivoting tent like 'garages' ?

Wondering:
A - how does it hold up to wind ?
B - how does it handle snow ?

I had a neighbor use one though out the winter here, although we typically don't get to much snow, seemed to hold up.

I am concerned about critters moving in (mice chipmunks etc.). What's the best way to keep them out? I've heard moth balls work. What else?
