bike vs dog

Anybody seen this motorcycle vs dog video? just shows somethings are unavoidablehttps://youtu.be/12Kyd2htJLc
https://youtu.be/1Q6mRPP1_58
Check out both cameras

After the accident the guy starts yelling "who's dog is that etc." like its someone else's fault. Looking for someone to blame.
Very unfortunate incident. Would be interesting to know if speed was a factor. I think both the semi driver and the rider that almost got flattened by it both $h!t their pants.
I always figure that if I get in an accident as it were, it's my own damn fault for not paying attention or anticipating what might happen or going too fast for conditions.

Yeah there is one more video from one of the riders, It appears to be one of those unavoidable unfortunate incidents. Looks like a bright sunshiny day and a straight road out in farmland somewhere and they seem to be spaced far enough apart and this dog darts out in front of them.Too fast? I don't know but what really is too fast?

Same thing happened to my buddy down in Myrtle Beach during bike week about 10 years ago. He wasn't traveling fast at all but went off-road and tore up the bike a bit... bags, windshield, crash and handle bars.

The insurance person repeatedly asked "Did you hit the dog?" several times during the follow up.
Apparently, there is a difference in coverage if you hit the dog and crash or swerve to avoid the dog and crash. The insurance person said it would be best if he "hit the dog". She asked him again, "Did you hit the dog?". Which he replied, "Yes, I hit the dog." Insurance paid everything.

Haha... I've heard insurance behaves that way...

Yes, the owner of the dog is at fault for failure to control his pet. There are laws about that.
