changing wheels on my 2010 flhx

Changing wheels on my 2010 flhx to RC chrome wheels,,,,question is thinking on staying the same in size (18 front 16 rear) should I go to one rotor or stay with two?? How will one change stopping power and what should I do to regain what I lose by going to one rotor??? really need some answers to make the right choice, Harley said not to go to one, to stay with two???? help!!!!

Stay with two brake rotors if being able to stop quickly is important to you. You can probably get a single rotor to work OK if you use a master cylinder, caliper, and rotor designed for a single rotor system.
