I'm trying to decide what color lens to order with the CD Dynamic Ringz. Anybody have pictures with clear and smoked lenses for comparison?

I had smoked on front and back with mine but swapped out the smoked on front for the OEM amber lens....

Thanks Aviator! After seeing your picture I'm wondering if a single color amber LED with yellow lens is a better option. That looks really bright!

When I placed my order with CD, I told them that I wanted maximum visibility and it was recommended that I order amber and red lens covers and a red tri-bar as well.

I have clear lenses with Crystal Dynamics LED's. When the bike is parked you can see the white LED's. As soon as it's on, the rear are bright red. I have the white outer ring/ inner amber ones up front. I wanted maximum brightness. But of course, lenses are cheap addons- order both colors.

I had the same thing from CD's (white outer ring/ inner amber) with smoked lens but a buddy said he could hardly see the white lights from a distance so I put the oem amber lens on and now he can see them from a long ways.

Just installed the CD Dynamic Rings on my 2015 SGS. I have always used the smoked lenses on the front- red on the back- when I had regular lights. I now use smoked on both. Both front and back are REALLY bright- don't find the smoked lenses to be an issue. I bought some new smoked ones at Amazon and paid $12 for four. I recommend buying clear and smoked, try them out and use what you like.

Just to throw in my .02 I also have the CD lights and went with the smoked lenses. I like the look. In the rear I also have the CD plasma rods.

I run the smoked on the front and rear and have more then twice as much light then stock. Not sure what your buddies are seeing but people see me weather they like it or not. Also have the 8 inch plasma rods on the back and they stick out for sure.

I'm guessing the lights blended in with the headlight....but with the amber lens, he could clearly see them versus the headlight...

Pretty sure there are 3 lights out front with the rings from what I have seen. When the turn signal is on then it's Amber and really sticks out for sure. I can only tell you from what I have seen in person.

I went with regular amber led for the front instead of the dynamic Ringz. Kept the yellow and red covers. I'm happy with the results.

Not a great picture but these are smoked lens. I took the picture because CD gave me a new left one under warrantee because one of the LED's is out.

I went with C-D RINGZ Front & FILLERZ Rear, and I had smoked on the second day I owned my Bike. I added C-D LED's to turn signals in 6 months after I had the Bike.
