Consequences of 1” lowered front cartridge with 13” rear shocks

I have 13” rear shocks. Just curious what would happen if I go with 1” lower front cartridge. If it’s really worse I’ll just go with 12” rear later instead of redoing front.

Another question I had was, will the ride be harsh with 1” lowered cartridge ? Was planning on going with fox, suspension technology or bite the bullet and go with Ohlins if they are plusher even from 1” lower.

I’m looking at lowering the rear too.
Worried about the wires.
Any tips would be welcomed!
