I hope this is the right place to post this as I was not sure about it going here or in the exhaust section.

I just replaced my headers, which I think means I have done a complete Stage 1 upgrade. I have CFR slips ons, V&H Dresser Duals, a RSD Clarity air cleaner, and a V&H FP3 tuner.

The first thing I did was the slip ons and had that alone for about a month. Then I added the air cleaner and FP3 at the same time. I had that set up for about 2800 miles. Now I added the head pipes.

1. Yes, I did notice next to no heat from the right side of the bike now.
2. I seem to be riding my gears higher. Is that normal? Is this indicative of what I have read about gaining horsepower when removing the stock headers?
3. My gas consumption seems to have gone way up. Is that normal?
4. How do I get rid of this pile of stock parts that my wife is wondering where they have come from?

How is the bike running.Wont it run too lean. Were you able to change all without a remap

I think the bike is running fine. How do you know if it is too lean? I did the remap and am now going through a tank of gas before running the auto tune.

Better hide the parts somewhere then you can sell them later and may keep you out of the dog house. With the FP3 tuner you shouldn't be running lean if you have the right tune for your set up.

With the closest initial MAP form V&H as you get started with FP3, you should be running just fine A/F-wise.

I have a friend who just added an FP3 and mentioned Throttle response and RPM's changed for the better too.

Tell the wife you're storing the parts for a friend. I'm keeping all my take offs in case I trade someday and want to replace them and move the bling to my new ride.
