Half of our around the country tour is complete. We left Ca. last Saturday morning rode across to Winston-Salem NC took 4 days.
Saw our kids then headed up north to Harper's Ferry then on to Gettysburg Sunday and Monday. We will start our return trip after the factory tour. Its been a great ride so far.

Congrats on an epic trip. Would like to do York next year. If you can post pics of your trip when ya get home and review some of your stops and the York plant. Safe travels and look forward to more updates.

I Was born here in York and have lived here on and off for a good part of my life but I have yet to take the tour of the plant I was in the old plant several time's work related but heve not been in the new plant yet there are a lot of sub contractor vendors around the area that do a lot of sub assembly work for the plant and I have been in most of those
Used to be a Forklift mechanic for a large forklift dealership so I have been in a lot of MFG plants around the area

Sounds like a great trip. I'm glad to hear you didn't get rain. Continue with your updates.

I'd like to ride out there on a trip but there's no way I'm gonna get the ol lady to ride that far. It was like pulling teeth to get her to ride to door county and that's only 200 miles. LOL

Cleaned the back of the bike up today replaced the stock CVO bulky license frame holder with a Kuryakyn curved led license

You'll really enjoy the tour! Did that one last year and the Kansas City plant two years before that. Ride safe! And.... Watch for idiots... They're everywhere.

The tour was great rained all day but it didn't mater bought a bunch of stuff and found the local Post office and mailed it home. Now off to Kansas City so the wife can see where her XL1200 was built.

We went in August a few years ago. Our tour was limited because they were producing a new model and couldn't let the public see it yet...

Guess I'll have to plan another trip!

We got home today rode 6197 miles saw both the York Pa. and the Kansas city steel toes tours. We are water logged and I don't think our bikes will ever be clean again. But it was a great trip. Cant wait until next year we are thinking Alaska.
