GPS Maps

So I took the scoot in for its 5k and asked about the GPS maps. The guys there had no idea what so ever. In fact they told me they cannot be updated. So back home I went and started poking around online. I found the site https://harley-davidson.naviextras.com and looked around there. If I read it correctly, the last version of the maps is from Quarter 2/2014. Has anyone heard of any updates on the way? I admit I was kind of annoyed when I went to use the dealer location and was taken to a dealer that had moved several years prior.

If no maps are forthcoming, is there a thread/site/link for replacing the entire head unit with a similar unit? I really would like to avoid some kind of mount for my phone.

That is the place and the latest maps. New maps expected about every 2 years. Mine were 2/2012 so I updated awhile back.

Wow updates every 2 years.......now that is certainly leading edge, not surprised though and perfectly in keeping with the way HD has approached this whole 6.5 system from the start..........namely yesterday's technology so why not use yesterday's maps.
