Hand controls for radio not working

I've got a 16 SGS and out of nowhere the controls on handlebars to control stock radio stopped working... anyone have any suggestions as to what could be the problem.

Also, is there a separate fuse for hand controls that might be the problem... thanks for the help.

Have you checked for DTC( Diagnostic Trouble Codes) these may help identify the issue.

I haven't checked anything yet... I was reading through the manual to see if maybe there was a way to set it up in settings or something.

I'm assuming to check codes I would need for the dealer to run a diagnostic

* ok I just looked up how to check for DTC...I will be checking that next.

Check the settings on your radio. I can't remember which, but if my memory serves me correctly, either scan or seek needs to be checked or unchecked.
