Harley Davidson Screamin' Eagle Pro Super Tuner

My bike came with the screamin eagle pro super tuner in the saddlebags but no cables. Do I have to take my bike to a Harley dealership to use this tuner? Is there somewhere that I can download maps to flash to the bike? The last bike I had had a PCIII (sportbike)that I installed on it and we used to share maps on the ZX10R forums for it. I have a little bit of decel pop from the bike that I would like to try and get rid of.

Also go to www.tunemyharley.com for software for making it easier to tune. Harley's software is available at:www.h-d.com/prosupertuner Finding the cables takes a little internet searching, make sure the cables you get fit your year bike as they are different.

A Harley-Davidson dealer will only install EPA compliant canned tunes when you get the Stage I (intake, exhaust, tuner) done at the dealership. By getting the cables, and downloading the tuning software, I believe you are now getting into the race tuning, both the autotune (a lot like the driving parameters needed the the V&H FP3, or putting the bike on a dyno. It allows you to change all areas, including throttle response and rpm limiter.
