Harley now selling gear oil

I used to use Syn3 in all 3 till I switched to Amsoil.
I've been running Amsoil gear oil in my trannys for years and have been super happy with the results.
About time HD realized there are better alternatives.
But it took them a while to get on the synthetic bandwagon to begin with.

I run gear oil in my ’17 transmission. I didn’t think about using it in the primary. I have been running rotella T5 in the engine and primary. I just turned 15,000 miles a couple days ago so it’s oil change time. Maybe I’ll just use Rotella in the engine this time and use gear oil in the other two.

I have a buddy that swears by Rotella too.
I should try it cause it's a lot cheaper than Amsoil.

Well look at that, they have! Wonder if that's Dino oil? The new stuff I linked is synthetic (hence the synthetic price tag :p)

I had Mobil 1 gear oil in my 14 tranny (after a shock proof.... You never get the smell of that pepto bismol out of there!) and it seemed to help with the straight cut gear noise so I'm excited Harley is selling syn gear oil with a listed viscosity rating so I can use it as a reference and do it again.

Harley had Formula + on the shelf for at least 10-12 years. I've used it for that long. Looks like they finally came out with a synthetic.
I use Amsoil in mine....
