I hope this topic hasn't been beat to death, but I searched and cannot seem to find any HD speaker lids modified for a 6x9. I watched the video Spazz posted on his 5x7's, your bike sounds awesome!! Would anyone happen to have a picture, I am looking to run the Hertz 690's in the lids, Hertz HSK 165 XL components in the fairing, and power them with the arc audio Moto 600.4.

Also what seems to be the going rate to paint the lids, that could sway me to buying raw lids from cyclesounds, the lids need to be charcoal pearl.

Biketronics makes an adapter for 6x9's but told me it's for pre-14 bikes. Hopefully they come out with one for us soon.

should the OP check baggerbags.com?
;)

LMAO...you'd think, huh? They make all kinds of lids and bags for ALL years! Ones that are single or double speaker, ones that'll fit 5", 6.5", and believe it or not...6x9's!!

I'm just saying...

They have a ton of stuff on their site- I don't have experience with any of it, but there is a ton of stuff there.

I've seen a lot of stuff on other people's scooters, and you always hear good and bad. The one thing I always hear is that you have to put a minute into the finishing work before painting them...but besides that, it's like a sore peter...ya can't beat it!!

Thanks for the input I checked out baggersbags.com they definitely have a ton of stuff on their website. I like the fact that the HATS 5x7's I would only have to cut out the basket.. Decisions.....Decisions......

If you're not worried about what you spend check out the Bad Dad speaker lids, I just put a set on my bike and the baskets screw out, no need to cut them up. Running HAT 5x7's from BT in them.

I really like their stuff I wouldn't mind getting their whole rear end kit. I am torn between them and top shop bags. I might end up with the bad dad 6x9 lids. It just sucks it seems like every mod I do for my harley costs close to a 1,000 bucks or more. Ha ha

I am pretty sure they are made to hold the boom audio 5x7. But there are companies that make adapters for them and you can cut the basket out.
