I am putting matching streamliner floorboards on for the wife and someone told me that you can use(and that they look good?) the pass.pegs as hwy pegs . Is this true?
2014 SGS

I bought the hd highway peg adjustable 360° mount kit. Not sure of part #, just go to their website, the one i just mentioned has lots of mounting positions.

I have the 360 mount kit as well... love it! You can find your perfect positioning with 360 rotation.

Oh... Jones R Us....

You need to buy the hwy peg mounts... then take your passenger pegs off the rear mounts and install them on the hwy peg mounts off the crash bar.

The dealer told me to do the same thing. Did you find passenger floor boards to match current board?

Twinsberry,

The matching Sipstream passenger floorboards and mount kit are $389... P/N 50378-07B

Other shops may have them a bit cheaper... pays to look around... but that is the matching set for the SG/SGS

2015 Street Glide Special - bottom hole is NOT threaded

What's up with that? Has anyone with 2014 or 2015 noticed this? I cannot install kit unless it is threaded.

HMMM... that seems weird. Not second-guessing you.. but get down there and look close. Thread might be deeper than you think and clearance drilled into the frame a bit.. Unless they 'missed' that....

Well, they missed it. I made sure there was no paint covering the threads and dug around inside with a few tools, screwdriver, hole punch, whatever would fit in there. Instructions in the kit say 2009 and earlier, bottom hole is not threaded. Mine's a 2015 and it's not threaded. If you try to use the hole above it (third hole from top), the bracket blocks the end of the wrench from being able to insert in the top of the screw. Now I'm questioning their Quality Control? I guess I'll take it up to the dealer and see what they say.

Surprising for sure... yeah.. hit the dealer up and they may be able to run a tap in there for ya... 5/16 x 18 if my memory serves me correct.

There are 4 holes on my 14 Street Glide. The Top 3 are all threaded, the bottom is not.

The highway peg brackets come in different lengths from HD. Check to see what fits ya.
