hello all,

I just bought my first street glide a 2009 red hot sunglow with 1598 miles on it. The dealer salesman said it does not have a 103 kit in it. But the service department said it did because they remember doing it about 1.5 to 2 years ago. I know it has the stage one air cleaner and only a set of vance and hines big oval slipons mufflers and they said it also has the HD race tuner. I was wanting to know if there is a way to tell with out having to run compression tests and cylander volume, or any extensive tests. I can tell that it has a good bit of power but that's because I'm coming off of riding a 2004 fat boy with the 88ci engine. so the seat of the pants test is not very reliable in this instance. Any help would be great and let me say thank you in advance because I cant get on the computer too often.10322784_10202336902156581_7809739532673354893_n.jpg

If it had a tuner... did they give it to you with the purchase? It would only be right if they did since it cannpt be used on any other sled.

Sorry I cannot answer the bore question

I would ask the dealer service dept for a copy of the service history in their system using the VIN. If the 103ci kit was installed , it definitely would be in their system. If they cannot produce any document to prove this, then it was not done. I would NOT believe what the salesman says either without a document proving that the work was done.

spazz, no they did not give me the tuner they do not have it the guy that traded it in did not give it to them. 808, that was going to be the next step in my search. thank you both for your reply..

If you 'know' someone at the dealer.... see if they can hook you up with the contact info. You may be able to save yourself some money down the road if you can acquire it from the previous owner.

As 808 said.... if the work on the engine was done at the ( a ) dealership.... records would reflect that.

Ask the dealer if the ECM programming was done by a stage X flashing vs a tuner.

If this type of tuning was done there would be no dongle.
