Thought these were suppose to be quiet. I probably could have ran my originals for awhile yet. I have 19,260 or so on the them and they still have about 3/32" left. I put the Lyndall Z pads on and when I use the front or back brake I get a buzzing that will slow with the bike. When I let off the pedal or lever it goes away. Sounds like the pads are picking up the vent holes. Not overly loud but compared to zero noise of the oem pads, it is definitely noticeable. Anyone else have this? Does it tame down?

We were having a similar issue with the OEM pads on our in-house Road Glide and had heard great things about the Lyndall Z pads as well so we picked up a set. Unfortunately, we are still having the same issues as we did with the OEM pads but they are a tiny bit quieter. While I'd like to say that they'll eventually "tame down", after nearly 10k miles, this has not been our experiences.

I am curious though as to what type of rotors you are running. We have aftermarket rotors which we thought might be contributing to the issue...

Thanks for the reply, Lindsey.
My rotors are bone stock, OEM '13 SG.
The pad packaging says no break in required. The website shows a break in procedure. So, I did what they recommended for a break in. They still don't feel like they are biting well yet.
