Any of you using iOmounts smartphone mount (Nomad)? I have been seeing that they make a strong magnetic mount with stainless steel thin plate (iOadapt) that attached to the phone/case. The main reason I like about this mount is magnet is so strong it's impossible for the phone to come loose and you can position the phone in many different directions, unlike other mounts. I currently use RAM mount and I am not very please with it, takes up a lot of room and once the phone is clamped it vibrates and rotates where the phone freaks out and rotates screen.....

First I have seen of that one. That would have to be a good magnet for me to trust it with my phone with the way these paint shakers are tho.

How much is it?

They are pricey but found one from Amazon for $35 shipped same day.....in Red color though. If you are looking for Black then it's $60, Chrome from Klock Werks is $100

Magnet on it is very very strong and I trust my iPhone with it, of course in a case to be safe like everything in life, extra security is always needed...... :)

caution, iphones and magnets don't work well together, there has been claims that the phones image stabilization features, battery and NFC (Bluetooth)are effected by less powerful magnets such as the phone case flaps. most newer phones are solid state, but larger magnets and electricity can get screwy on any cell phone.

Thanks for the warning.....I only use this setup for GPS maps when I travel, other times my phone stays in my pocket about 95% of the time.

The part I failed to mention was magnetic piece is never on the phone/case itself, it's on the mount, the part that is on the phone/case is just a stainless steel plate that is glued on with 3M tape.....so unlike other magnetic cases where magnet is always on the phone/case where potentially harm the phone.

Last week I got a email from Klock Werks about these IOmounts. I'm interested in the master cylinder mount.
