I put down a refundable down payment on a 2015 K16GT sport yesterday and I'll be trading in a 2016 Harley street glide special with about $4K in mods. I don't what it is, I've been searching for the right bike and now that I have found it, I can't seem to pull the trigger and trade in the SGS. Am I crazy for even considering this? Let me know what you guys think.
It will be a title for title trade, just gotta pay for doc fees, license and registration.

Yeah, I don't get it unless you hate Harley's in general, because that's a totally different type of bike and vibe there. They just don't seem to have much of a soul. But, hey- some guys love to drone along in their full face helmet on the freeway for hours and hours. I'd recommend maybe renting something similar for a weekend and see how you feel after.

Guys do that on all kinds of bikes, including Harleys.

The Beemer is a sweet bike; if You like it, then go for it... You can always come back to HD if You want.
The only thing I would suggest about the BMW is also considering (and riding) the RRT as well; lots of guys like that bike as much or better than the KGT.

Only you will know if you feel crazy. I recently traded my "dream bike" Kawi Voyager for a SGS after only a year cause I knew it just wasn't the bike for me. Then again I'm 62 and don't have slot of time to vaccilate lol.

I went ahead got the deal done for the Beemer so she should be here this afternoon. I'll give it a year, if it's not me and I still miss the Harley, I'll get the M8 street glide.
