Knocking in floor board

After having the power duals installed, I noticed that the bike now has a knock feeling in the right floorboard only. I feel it when going over bumps in the road. I searched for brackets or clamps that might that might be touching the board, nothing! My buddy has a 2014 SGS that he just installed the power duals on, and he said he has the same knocking in the right board. Any idea what it could be?

I had the same thing with a set of dresser duals that I just installed on my new 15, ended up putting on some footboard extensions. (I know the pipes are different but worth looking at). Check the heat shield clearance on the rear footboard bracket, be sure to check it when hot because when it gets up to temp it expands downward.

There are foot board extensions on already that come with the exhaust kit. It does it no matter if the bike is hot or cold. I did not think to look by the rear foot board. I'll check that in the morning

I meant the rear bracket on the front footboard, mine would rub after it got warm and expanded. Sounds like you are hitting somewhere though. Good luck!

True duals here (Rush) but no knocking noises:confused:.

Mojo, there is no noise with it. Just feel a knock in the board.
I can start the bike put it in gear and first bump coming out the driveway I feel it. It does not feel like a major problem, but curious to find it. It has to be something hitting somewhere, probably is the shields hitting, maybe the motor mounts are flexing more than I realize.
