Lack of Throttle Response

I am sure there is a thread about this but did not come up with any results when I searched.

This weekend, I and a buddy put a J&M Amp and Faring Speaker upgrade on my 14 SG. When I finished, I fired it up in the garage to hear the sounds over the pipes. Everything seemed to sound just fine, however, I did not turn the throttle.

Went to ride it to work this morning (was going to brave the below freezing temps in Iowa in order to hear the sounds) and when I went to take off, the throttle rolled but I received zero response.

WTH is going? Did I do something while hooking something up in the faring or is this a common problem as I have seen in other forums?

Your wisdom and advise is greatly appreciated.

Any codes? I switched my bars out and messed up the wiring harness for the tbw. Threw a bunch of codes.

It has been awesome here btw, in Iowa that is. I live in Cedar Falls. Went out both of the last two weekends.

Did you pull the main fuse before working on the bike? If not, you may have "zapped" something.

You may have somehow unplugged the throttle wiring.

Yep sounds like a wiring issue. I had a similar issue when I put my bars on!!!! Ended up being a loose connection

Check your TBW connection.... you may have unplugged in or knocked it loose...
