LED relplacement bulbs for 1157 bulbs?

yes thank you, they do make a great product. That being said cheaper ($25 or less) LED replacement bulbs are available as an option to the 1157 bulb, at least they are for other applications. I was just wondering if anyone had found something that worked for a '16 SG? The set I tried just barley missed fitting my rear turn signal because the led bulb flared out from the socket a little more than the stock 1157 bulb did.

The housing has to be modified to fit.... dremel works to clearance the lip on the housing.... but not worth it and they are NOT any brighter to be honest. Save your coin and get the Custom Dynamics.
I went down the same path- you have to take a dremel tool to the housings in order to fit the bulbs. You can make it work, but it's still a hack job. I ended up buying the custom dynamics bulbs- a much better solution, and guaranteed. They may be pricy- but they are worth it. Custom dynamics bulbs are brighter by far.
Fir turn signals you do not. Not sure about other stuff but I would think not.

No the 14+ bikes have a CANBus system that compensates........you may need to run the emergency flashers for a couple of minutes for the system to "Learn" the different resistence of the LED bulbs but this is a one time event and after doing this they should be perfect from that point forward
I just installed the Custom Dynamic Tail/Brake lights in my 2017 SGS.
For those having trouble take note. I removed the old bulbs and inserted the new LEDs without a problem but noticed a lot of Dielectric grease on the bulbs I removed. Set my flashers as recommended, but my security light came on and would not go out. Tried to reset the trouble code several times but no luck. Finally removed the LEDs, cleaned off the grease including in the sockets. After reinstalling the LEDs the trouble codes went away, the security lamp and bulbs work perfectly.
Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
