So, I Pledged my Grey SGS yesterday and and I used a microfiber towel to wipe it dry. The pledge leaves behind a noticeable trail. I have to redo it several times to get it to go away. Am I doing something wrong here? Its not bad but looks like something liquid dried on there. It is that way all over the bike. I am not too impressed.

Pledge is not meant for automotive paints. Any detail spray by meguiars, wizard, or Lucas are your best bets. You have the right technique just the wrong product.

I am not surprised it is the wrong product. I have been reading for years that lemon pledge was supposed to be good for Harley paints. I am thinking not after finally having tried it. Thanks for the info and advice ya'll.

Pledge is good for the windshields.......but that's about it.

We have used Pledge on our aircraft windshields for years and it works great on the Plexiglas :D

Blue haired old ladies who ride on the back of Gold Wings use lemon pledge for a quick detail on their white boots.
