Looking at a SG for commuting

My bikes a weekend warrior. Love it, would like better suspension and seat for the wife. The suspension is a mystery on these bikes 20k bikes with supper crap harsh suspension with no change on the newer bikes makes no sense.

Funny enough, I went from a 13' Street Bob to a 16' SG. Huge difference with comfort. My commute to work is only 15 miles each way but my 'Get Lost' trips and weekend runs would be a couple hundred miles. Besides comfort, having music was the greatest upgrade. Also the saddle bags are awesome for keeping things secure.
