Last summer I bought a set of fork mount wind deflectors from my local dealer. I believe they were called fork fangs. The build quality was good and the chrome was beautiful, unfortunately, they did not mount on my bike due to the fact that I'm also running HD's Auxiliary Lighting Kit. At first the dealer said they wouldn't take them back but after a little back and forth with the parts manager, they did because there were no exclusions listed for the part and I made damn sure to tell them I have the auxiliary lights before I bought the fork fangs. I was pretty disappointed that they wouldn't fit but, in the end, I was happy my dealer eventually refunded me.
I've recently moved to Idaho and I find that it's quite a bit colder here and the winters last longer so when I was out for a ride yesterday in 35 degree weather, I was thinking I sure would like to find a set of fork mount wind deflectors that work with the auxiliary lighting kits on our Street Glides. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions with pics of your set up would be even better.
