Hey folks! Myself and 2 friends will be riding from South Alabama to Daytona for Bike week next month. We are looking for a setup to be able to communicate with each other while on the bikes. I've seen some of the bluetooth headsets online for $150-250. We aren't really looking to spend that much on something that we aren't going to use a whole lot. We are looking for something in the $75-125 range or so. Preferably something with earbuds, as we wear half shell helmets. We don't need anything super fancy, just something to talk to each other on. I've seen a few walkie-talkie's that come with a boom mic and an earbud and they have hands free, but I just don't know how well that would work at 75-80mph going down the interstate.

Sena20s duals are way more than you want to spend... but I can communicate with up to 8 riders. Around $500... or you can get a single unit for 350 and change

Check out Fusar.com. They have headsets that are very functional and cost effective. Can't give you numbers off the top of my head but I do remember they were pretty affordable. These function a little differently than most headsets, they work through your cellular connection. Pretty cool.
