Lost a Tune ? Is it Possible?

My bike was tuned last year with a Power Vision from FeulMotto. I took it in for a 10K service and the dealer called and said I may need a tuner since I had aftermarket pipes and cleaner, they noticed some decel pop on a test ride. They hoked their diags and it supposedly had the stock tune.

I told them it was flashed with a custom tune when I added the exhaust and that's what it should have, also I have not noticed any decel pop.They double checked and said it shows the original factory tune.

I will check it with the Power Vision when I get it back, hopefully FuelMotto will be able to help if I have any issues, BUT has anyone heard of a bike loosing a custom tune and defaulting back to the original?

I guess it is possible that the bike was not properly flashed originally and I have been running on the Factory tune, but I have not had any issues.

Something just doesn't sound right to me.

Just check it with your PV. Fuel Moto can help if needed. The bike can not "lose" the tune that is installed, a tuning device has to be connected.

What hulk said BUT it is possible it didn't keep the tune that was installed. Had it lost the tune, the dealer would still be able to see that it had once been tuned/flashed.

A Powevision map will be a .pvt file. Attach your PV and see whats there.
