Low Oil Pressure

I recently realized that I could check my oil pressure via the infotainment system on the bike. When doing so, I found that it's reading between 23 and 26 PSI after the bike is at normal riding temps regardless of whether I'm at 2,000 RPMs higher. It doesn't go much above about 27 PSI. When I first start it up, before it's warm, it will be around 31 psi, but doesn't go above that even if I increase RPMs. Through my FP3, I see that the temp is less than 260. I checked the oil when warm and it's just below full, so not an oil level issue. I changed the oil pressure sending unit and it reads the same as before I changed it. The bike only has less than 8,000 miles on it. It seems to be running fine and no loud lifter noise or other noticeable issues. I changed the oil about 700 miles ago and used the correct K&N (KN-171B) filter. I use Mobil1 15W-50 in the crank (I know some people have opinions regarding oil brand/weights and pressure). Any thoughts about what might be causing the low reading? Would changing the oil filter to the Harley filter be a good idea, or could the filter be causing this issue for some reason? Appreciate any thoughts.

You are fine... for psi... 10-13psi warm at idle is about the normal rate and 31 plus or minus a few is cruising psi. I run 20/50 conv oil and HD filter in my 120ST and the numbers are consistent with what I said and I have 11k on her

Way too heavy for early and late season in Ohio. In fact, too heavy for most of the summer as well.

Still don't see the need. 20-50 is plenty heavy. If his only concern is slightly low oil pressure, there's another reason for that. Oil isn't the problem.

its nothing wrong with your oil and your oil pressure is good too. your gauge or sending unit could be off a little .electronic gauges and sending units can vary by a lot. as long as your not seeing real low numbers at idle below 7lbs or not seeing the oil (dummy) light come and not hearing excessive lifter ticking. on don't sweat it.

I wasn't happy with it running between 23-26, so I tried changing the oil filter (after first changing the sending unit with no change). Changed to the standard Harley filter and now it's at a constant 30 PSI at cruising speed and normal running temp.
