Mirror Options

I recently added 12" Mayhem Bars to my 2017 Street Glide Special, I apsolutly love them.... The problem is now my hands & arms partially block the stock mirrors. Not being able to see behind me while riding isn't comforting at all....

I'm looking for options, but I'm not interested in mounting mirrors on the handlebars, top or bottom.

I've stumbled apon Mirror Drop Brackets... They drop the farring mirrors 2 or 3 inches lower than stock but still attach to the farring.

Has anyone seen or used brackets like this to lower their mirrors???

Your feedback is greatly appreciated....

I have the pingel setup and it works great. A little pricey but easy to install. Takes a little time to adjust the mirrors correctly and you still have to lift your elbows slightly to get a perfect view. I'll post a picture here before I take off riding today.

What I meant to say was, if you had to do it all over again, would you stick with the Pingel, or try something different?

careful with those drop mounts. I bought a set to try on my bike, and the angles were incorrect. I don't know what year bike Duffer99 has, but those drops wouldn't fit my 17 CVO. In truth, I wouldn't want them anyway. I put the factory 47 bars on over the winter and those drops still wouldn't be as helpful as putting the mirrors on the bars. I found some tiny mirrors (might be too small, but we'll see) and I like the looks...

well.... I was going to upload a pic, but I keep getting an error message.... guess you'll have to take my word for it...

I would do it all over again. I bought mine through revzilla. Call or e-mail them. They will tell you if it doesn't fit. The instructions were not the greatest and it took some time to figure out the installation. I really do like it and don't have mouse ears over my fairing
