Need help on updating softwre

I have updated my software on a Special in the past to 1.18.2
I just downloded the latest version 1.19 and followed the same instructions but when I attach the jump drive it just days "no media found" and doesnt seem to see the zip file that I downloaded!
Actually, I did an update last night but the version still says 1.18.2 when I go to software to check the version so i thought that maybe I had 2 versions on my jump drive and I never actually installed the 1.18 version but anyway i cleared the entire jump drive and only had the new update but it doesnt seem to see it....Any suggestions or comments?

You're gonna want to actually unzip that zip file, and then take that ISO file and put it straight onto the flash drive. Give it a go after that and it should work like a charm.

Make sure the only file on that drive is that ISO file.

Welcome zbeast08- Hevyrockerdk told ya right. The Boombox will only want to see a single file on your jump drive and it has to have the .iso extension. They say you also need a minimum 8 gig drive as well.
 
That worked!! I was placing the entire zip folder on jump drive. However, my home computer is old and had to download a program to "unzip" the folder but all is well!! I am updating my system now! Thanks for the quick response!

I think the latest software is 1.19.1
 
I have just a couple more questions. Is there any type of notification when there is an update available or just check the website periodically?
Also, as you know, I just updated to version 1.19.1, does this cover previous updates or do I need to find all updates that I haven't installed and install them to be completely up to date?

zbeast08- this group will notify all on board anytime a new firmware upgrade comes out. Some-like me don't jump right on them due to past issues with undoing our audio upgrade settings and a couple of times, they broke more than they fixed.
 
Can anyone tell me if a USB 3 will work on the 2015's? I have friend thst just bought it and asked me to find out.

That sounds great! But does the most current version cover all previous updates.....good or bad.....?
